DANACE Data Deletion Policy
Effective Date: June 1, 2026
Purpose
DANACE respects users' privacy and provides a process for requesting deletion of personal information stored on the platform.
Information Eligible for Deletion
Upon verification, users may request deletion of:
- User profile information
- Contact details
- Learning activity records
- Uploaded assignments
- Accessibility preference information
Information That May Be Retained
Certain information may be retained when necessary to:
- Comply with legal obligations
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Maintain financial records
- Preserve certification records where legally required
- Resolve disputes
How to Request Data Deletion
Users may request deletion by:
Option 1: Through the Platform
- Log in to your DANACE account.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select "Delete My Account."
- Confirm the request.
Option 2: Email Request
Send an email containing:
- Full name
- Registered email address
- Username
- Request for account deletion

Verification Process
To protect user accounts, DANACE may verify the identity of the requester before processing deletion requests.
Processing Timeline
Verified deletion requests will normally be processed within 30 days.
Effect of Deletion
Once completed:
- User accounts will be permanently deactivated.
- Personal information will be removed or anonymized.
- Access to courses, certificates, and learning records may be lost.
- Deleted information may not be recoverable.
